SOBRE NÓS
O Tomás a Laura e a Mariana são três irmãos que nasceram e cresceram em Vila Nova de Milfontes. Cresceram com o mel alentejano, o leite das vacas do Tí Pedro, o pão do forno de lenha, as tardes bem passadas nas cascatas e linhas de água, caminhadas na costa, ondas do mar para surfar e com a arte de parar, olhar, disfrutar e pensar. Sem pressas, como só o alentejano sabe sentir o tempo a passar.
Todos os três partiram para a sua vida individual e profissional, cada um no seu lugar, com as suas ocupações e interesses. Mas a vontade de voltar existe, e traduz-se neste projecto, que pretende reunir os gostos de cada um num só lugar. Os espaços do Branco de Cal reunem a cerâmica, a cozinha, a música, o surf, e muito mais, reflectidos em convívio, actividades e experiências para quem quiser partilhar os nossos interesses e o nosso ponto de vista deste Alentejo Litoral.
Um projecto em fase inicial, com tempo e espaço para crescer, e com muito para aprender.
Ao Branco de Cal juntam-se os nossos pais, Luís e Paula, o resto da família, e os amigos, que sempre contribuíram para o que somos agora, e consequentemente para o que o Branco de Cal tem hoje para oferecer!

ABOUT US
Tomás, Laura and Mariana are siblings born and raised in Vila Nova de Milfontes. They grew up in and of this place, characterised by the components of this small coastal town — local honey, the milk from the neighbor’s cows, freshly baked bread, long hikes and clean beaches, winter surf swells, and the sun rising on the mountains.
And, as good ‘Alentejanos’, they know how to stop and watch, without rush, taking their time.
All three moved away from Alentejo to study and work, traveling to other countries and experiencing other cultures. But their roots on the Vicentine Coastline always brought them back. Branco de Cal is a product and a reflection of their shared passions. Cooking, music, architecture, ceramics and surfing all have made their way organically into the project. They try to create comfortable spaces that share the parts they love and know of their home.
Joining them to complete Branco de Cal, are their parents, Luis and Paula, along with the rest of their family and friends who have always contributed to what Branco de Cal is, and will always be.
