We are in Vila Nova de Milfontes, on the Alentejo Coastline. Alentejo is its own kind of paradise. Alentejo is a place of wild, natural beauty.

The culture here is defined by the local artisans who create with the detail and knowledge of generations of craftsmanship —everything from carpets, to baskets, to pottery. The art of making olive oil, honey, distilled drinks, bread, cork, and fishing is alive and well in the Alentejo. Here, we have masters of the kitchen and the sea alike, and we celebrate our culture through local markets and festivals, held year round.
